The Sexy Ankita Deora
Wednesday, December 3, 2008Ankita Deora was born in 1982, is a young poet who has composed several poems. She was born in India and started schooling there. She lives in California with her parents and younger sister.
She wrote her first poem when she was 8 years old and in the 4th grade. She says that there was nothing in particular that woke up the poet in her. One day she was at home and was really bored. She had a paper and pencil nearby. So she decided to scribble a few sentences. When she was done, she had written a poem. When she showed it to her dad, he said the poem was very good. So she decided to write more poems.
Writing poems is not her favorite hobby. She only writes them for special moments. Dancing is her favorite hobby. She dances almost everyday. But when she is tired, she starts writing poems down on a paper.
Ankita also likes to compete in poetry contests. Her Poem "EARTH", has been judged as a semi-finalist in the 1994 North American Open Poetry Contest organized by The National Library of Poetry, based in Maryland. She hopes to become a finalist and get the grand prize.
